Member Ratings Guide

What is a Rating?
Every iSpQ VideoChat member has a 'rating' which results from feedback left by others
in the community. Only members that you communicate with can leave you feedback.
Members may only add 1,000 points per day to their Overall Rating, so those with a high number of points have
more experience on iSpQ than those with a lower number. Since the iSpQ system rewards
members who practice proper Netiquette,
the rating system also promotes positive behavior.
Rating Other Members
Rating other members is a fun and positive experience and can be done each time you receive a
Quick Message. Look for the button below with the smiley face, as pressing this will give the user
points toward their Overall Rating.
If you find a received Quick Message offensive, you can add
the sender to your Block List.

You may also rate a user one time during a Video Chat. Click the member's name and then click on
Rate Positive in the popup menu.
Ratings Points
You earn reputation points when you communicate with other iSpQ members (via a Quick
Message or VideoChat). The total number of points you have received is your Overall
Rating; the number of both positive and negative points you have received in the
current day makes up your Daily Rating. The Rating Level you have reached is indicated
by the icon next to your Overall Rating. Your current ratings can be found in the
upper-right corner of the iSpQ VideoChat window. At the end of each day, up to 1,000 Daily Rating
points are added to the Overall Rating.
The member rating system in iSpQ VideoChat is easy. Each day, you can receive:
| +10 |
Positively-rated Quick Message |
| +30 |
Positively-rated Video Chat |
| +10 |
Profile photo is approved |
| -10 |
Profile photo is not approved (rejected) |
| +100 |
** First log on to iSpQ VideoChat |
| +200 |
** Registration of iSpQ VideoChat |
** These are one-time point bonuses, whereas the rest can occur each day.
When you receive the above points, they are added in real-time to your Daily Rating
point totals and your Overall Rating total. Some important notes about ratings:
| • |
A Quick Message can only be rated within 24 hours of being received. |
| • |
If someone sends you a QM you can rate him/her. If you do not respond to them, they cannot rate you. |
| • |
You can only earn 1000 points each day; at the end of each day, Daily Rating totals are reset. |
| • |
A user cannot rate themselves. |
| • |
The nanoCom staff reserves the right to adjust ratings for any reason. |
