Community Monitors: The First Year

Happy anniversary to the iSpQ Community Monitors! Introduced on December 10, 2004, our community monitors have worked to keep the iSpQ video chat community safe and fun for everyone. There are currently fourteen individuals who volunteer their time to help users and enforce system policies at all times of the day. We have received plenty of feedback about the monitors, primarily positive and echoing the sentiment of this user: "Your monitors have done a great job of keeping undesirables under control".

iSpQ VideoChat is an open video chat community and we welcome people from over 182 countries. The directories and public chat areas are a good place to meet a new friend. This open community is governed by a simple set of policies that are intended to protect our diverse group of individuals. These policies include rules on harassment, impersonation, unsolicited 'flashing' and other community infractions. Read detailed policies. In enforcing these policies, the monitors follow a code of conduct that promotes professionalism, team work, and fairness.

We are thankful for the time that all fourteen monitors spend online and grateful that so many have now served the community for an entire year. When you see a monitor online, please send them a QM telling them "Thank You". Your message will be appreciated.

New Accolades for iSpQ VideoChat

A handful of software awards have been rolling in for iSpQ over the past few weeks. On top of sixteen different 5-star ratings last month, iSpQ has garnered three sites' highest rating, an Editor's Choice award, and a '100% Clean' award. The latter is an honor given to exceptional software that can be cleanly installed with 'no strings attached'. See some of the awards and ratings iSpQ has received on the new Accolades page.
